I cut my hair way too short. Help! What can I do?

I cut my hair WAY to short. How can I fix this? What about extensions?
My hair is now only a little bit less than an inch all over.

People lose hair or get thin hair for various reasons e.g. illness, medications, hereditary reasons, child bearing and change of environment. Excessive use of hair colors, bleaching, relaxing, harsh chemicals and heat can cause damage to your hair, they can cause hair to be brittle and dry which makes it break easily.

One great tip is to moisturize dry hair. Using good hair moisturizing conditioners and volumizers can give it the appearance of more volume. In the event of excessive hair loss, you can use a top piece, hair wigs or hair extensions to give you the hair length and volume you would like. A good hair stylist would also be able to give you great advice for your specific situation.

Can anyone tell that I wear hair extensions? Whether you chose curly hair extensions or long hair extensions, what is most important is that you pick a color and a style that goes with your own hair. It’s also important to get a stylist that knows what she or he is doing. Ask for referrals, ask to see previous work that they have done, a great stylist will do it right and as long as you don’t tell anyone only you would know that you’re wearing hair extensions. Will dying hair extensions damage them?

I’m considering getting hair extensions. I already use clip-in ones, but I need something that is more permanent.
I often color my hair bright red. If I dye the hair can it damage the hair extensions?

Dyeing hair that color would require peroxide developers which are harsh and drying chemicals. So it is possible you can damage the hair.  If the hair you get is really strong, youthful and healthy then it might be able to withstand the chemicals and still give you a long lasting wear.

Can I make my straight synthetic hair extensions wavy?

You can try using hot rollers and a wig setting lotion not curling irons. There are some new synthetics that can be curled with a not too hot curling iron though.

Pro 10 hair is protein hair (ie synthetic hair) It is not human. it typically lasts about 3 – 7 weeks depending on usage.

Never worn a weave before

Hi I have never worn weave before because my girlfriends have a lot of problems with the hair tangling really bad when it get wet and I would like to get some weave put in for my cruise vacation, so is there any suggestion on which hair weave is the best? The style I am looking for is spiral and loose wave styles. 1. Is the hair human hair? 2. How does the hair hold up in humidity? 3. Is the hair tangle free? 4. What product are the best products to use to care for this weave?

If you are looking for a spiral wavy look I would suggest Goddess Remi Deep Weaving or Goddess Remi Loose Deep Weaving which are both quality human hair. Upkeep is fairly simple. I suggest a sew in over glue any day, it will last much longer. There are many products available at your local beauty supply for human hair. Wetting the hair can sometimes cause some frizziness, products for human hair are the best to use. At night it is good to wrap your hair or wear a cap. You can also braid the hair in 3 – 6 braids (plats, individuals etc.) to keep it from frizzing and getting tangled over night. Also it is good to have a wide toothed comb when you need to comb through the hair.

Does Velvet Outre Remi Yaki get curly when wet?

When this hair gets wet does it curl or wave and are you able to straighten it with a flat iron?

Outre Remi Yaki is a great choice. It can be curled with rollers or a curling iron, and can be flat ironed straight. This is not the type of hair that gets curly when wet.
